Looking for a place to call home that values servitude and volunteerism? Twin Pines is extremely dedicated to our philanthropic efforts, as well as volunteering with Purdue and the Greater Lafayette area. Each semester, the women do a house philanthropy event together. In the past semesters, Twin Pines has thrown Christmas parties for the Head Start Children's Program, participated in Boo at the Zoo for Columbian Park Zoo, volunteered at the Lafayettes Fall Festival and Trunk or Treat Fest, and participated in Purdue University Dance Marathon in order to raise money for Riley Children's Hospital. During the Fall of 2015, we hosted our first annual "Strike Out MS" softball tournament to raise money for the National Multiple Sclerosis Society. Many of us enjoy volunteering at the local animal shelters and food drives. Additional opportunities can be found through the Boiler Volunteer Network.
